"Whoever said money can't buy happiness doesn't know where to shop." This is one of the famous lines of my favorite TV show character Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl. The said sentence is a great reminder for everyone on how retail therapy can be of great help during our "stressed" and "depressed" situations. Nonetheless, it is important to remind ourselves that we must not keep on splurging all our hard-earned money on shopping. We have to be a smart shopper at all times! Below are some of the tips on how to save big while giving in to your "I want to buy everything" tendencies:
Keep a list of all your shopping expenses. This is the best way to prevent yourself from over-spending every month. If you keep track of all your shopping records, then you will be able to determine how much of your income actually goes to new shoes, bags or dresses. Looking at the list can help you gain control on how you spend your money.
Wait for the "sale" season. Did you know that you can get great shopping items without actually paying for more? Well, you can always wait for various special occasions that will make establishments offer some of their best items on sale. However, there is a down side to this. During the "sale" season, more shoppers are in the stores which means that you may experience some inconvenience while choosing the stuff to buy.
Try online shopping. Visiting online stores and buying items from them have become one of my favorite things to do lately. It makes me feel happy whenever I shop at the convenience of my own home. The best part of all is that there are amazing deals on these e-stores that will help online shoppers save big. One of the sites that I keep on visiting is Zalora. I was looking through ZALORA and found that they have New Balance shoes available. The said site also sells lovely dresses and shoes!
